2001 Caravan hesitates/misfires

coil pack?
I saw your message and list of replaced parts, curious why you didn't replace the coil. We have a 01 GC with 3.8....
Wife called me while I was at work and said the engine light was on and power was down. I said park it... later when I got home I checked the code and it said #2 miss fire.
Diagnosis went like this:
1. pulled the plug, looked fine.
2. grabbed my inductive timing light and verified no signal on the wire.
3. swapped wires from one that worked, retested with timing light, still no signal.
4. Thought about it...so, looks like coil or whatever is triggering the coil...
5. Bought coil locally for $50 (online is much cheaper but I needed it fixed pronto)
6. swapped coil and problem solved.
Good luck!

Problem Solved
This morning I pulled the fuel rail and moved the #2 fuel injector to another position. I also checked the wires and harness, which seemed to be fine. Still got the misfire on #2-so I knew it wasn't the injector. So I did something I should have done a while back.
I started the van and pulled the #2 wire off the coil pack. I didn't hear any clicking or see any arcing at all. I tried other wires and they worked like they should. I swapped the #2 plug and wire, but still the same results-no spark or weak spark to #2 plug.
So I replaced the coil pack. Problem solved!
Thanks to everybody for their suggestions and support.
