05 G.Caravan Fan issue

Ok so i wired up everything corresponding to the fan harness. Now i checked the ECT and it did not turn on the fans when the temp reached half point. So i disconnected the ECT and both fans turn on.
My guess is the ECT is bad since both turns on then the fan relay is good?
