I did a search an could find anything about this problem.

2006 Grand Caravan - Once in a while the windhield wipers will not work when they are turned on. We can 't tell when they will not work.
When it happens (don't work) the windshield spray works but the wipers don't cycle. Delay or full on makes no difference.

I think we had a problem like this when it was under warantee but don't remember. Any sugestions or ideas?

 

Try removing the caps and check the 15mm nuts, make sure they are tight. That would the first place i would check. In the mean time i'll check for TSBs.

NOTE: This recall applies only to the above vehicles built between March 28, 2005 and July 1, 2005 (MDH 032823 through 070123) OR between September 27, 2005and December 13, 2005(MDH 092701 through 121323).
IMPORTANT: Vehicles that have already had the proper wiper module installed, according to warranty records, have been excluded from this recall. In addition, 2001 through 2006 model year RS vehicles (built outside of the above MDH ranges) that have had a suspect replacement windshield wiper motor (P/N 05114534AA) installed between March 21, 2005 and January 13, 2006, according to warranty records, have been added to this recall. Dealers are also requested to review their records and contact owners who have purchased a wiper motor or who have had a wiper motor installed outside of the warranty provision.

We got the 2006 Grand Caravan in late 2005 so it might fall into this recall - I'll ask the dealer!
