I saw this on some websites, and I was SHOCKED! Why would they discontinue the hand that's been feeding them buckets of money for years: The caravan. I think that's a stupid idea. If you could please explain why they are doing this, it'd be helpful.

As an employee there I can tell you for sure that the caravan is not going bye bye. If anything it will be the town and country that goes. but the caravan will have more trim levels to make up for the T/C departure

Yeah, no WAY they would kill it, make far too many sales with them.

 

I believe few yrs ago, the plan was to down size the caravan, and let the T&C carry the Minivan torch. Caravan will probably become a Microvan like b4.
But of course, plans change... all the time. I can't see them killing the caravan name plate off, they sold too many.

I was in class last week, the dodge caravan is staying and the town and county is gone.

 

Yes, they flip flopped. Was the Caravan headed to the pearly gates. Now it's the T&C.
