I have a 05 Touring Signature Edition T&C. I bought it with one key.
The part number is 04727351AC 267F-5WY72XX M3N5WY72XX is on the back of the key.

I bought 2 keys(used) on ebay. I re-blanked them, they are working when put to a tester.

The dealer claims they cannot be programmed to the van, saying it has the wrong frequency. The only difference on the numbers is the part number, the new (used) ones are 07272348 AB and 0727348AE.

The dealer wants $155 for a new key, which is money I dont have. Anyone ever been successful at getting a used key to work before?

 

to me i beleive the dealer can probably clear the codes on the key but what ive been told the key can only be programmed to one vehicle. now like i said not sure if the key can then be erased and programmed to another vehicle or not. i bought mine thru ebay blanks used thru a seller that sells refurbs and they worked perfect. aslong the keys match to the vehicle. if the bottons different maybe not.

 

Once a key is programmed to a vehicle, it is mated to that vehicle (or it's win module anyway) for life. Cannot be programmed to another vehicle. Most keys sold on ebay are keys that were used for a remote start system so they were never cut. But they were programmed to the win. So people take them and sell them to you. Had a customer in our shop buy 12 keys off ebay before he got one that worked. By that time, he was wishing he had just bought the new one. You can get a key that doesn't have the fob but will still start the vehicle if that's an option.
