ac clutch wont engage
2003 dodge grand caravan 3.3 gas only (NON flex fuel)
All voltage is as it should be. Relay and fuse are both good. Assuming system is fully charged. Clutch will engage with a wire jumper wire and ac blows very cold, but after approx 45-60 seconds it starts blowing freon out the high pressure relief switch. Found a ground wire to the pressure transducer switch that was catching a charge somehow, but regrounded it. When we were checking the charge, we had the engine running and the jumper hooked up so that the clutch would engage, but the guages kept rising and never stopped so we had to pull the jump wire.
Was told by an auto tech that the buss unit in my BCM wasnt getting power, but all of my accessories are working (radio, lights, blinkers, speedometer)

Compressor engaging is kinda complicated. When you press the button on the control head, it sends a message to the BCM that you want a/c. The BCM sends a message to the PCM to actuate the clutch relay. The PCM looks at the high pressure transducer to make sure the pressure is ok to engage the clutch. If so, it uses the evap temp sensor and high pressure transducer to cycle the clutch on and off. Almost need a scan tool to see where the message is getting cut off.
