Engine Noise
Had s-belt tensioner pulley replaced, didn't solve problem. Was with garge tech at the time and with me looking over his shoulder he (we) investigated further. With help of a stethoscope (screwdriver), we determined it to be the alternator pulley bearing. Have alternator on order. Will advise whether we are correct or not after the new alternator comes in.
Thanks once again for all who submitted suggestions, the culprit ended up being the alternator pulley bearing. Hope this is/has been helpful to others with same/similar problem.
