This darn thing is giving me and the wife the rattles. Was having a problem starting , so changed the fuel pump . Went like a charm then starting probs again. One suggested to replace the safety switch on the transmission. I went out to find the switch and the wires were loose, attached and started right up.

OKAY , I am thinking. Now, move the van to a better parking spot. Won't start..
Now I am getting POed. And the switch seems not to have any "nut" to unscrew the switch to remove it so I can replace it.
I have checked online for the replacement switch and found a bunch, but they all have a removable one "with nut" .

Starting to get ready to donate this one..

When you say it doesn't start, do you mean it doesn't crank over or cranks and won't start?

 

Turns great , has spark, .. Just replaced the safety neutral switch,yesterday, started ran round the block,, Parked on hill just in case . Shut it off ,started right up 4 times. Went out this am ,, no run. It seems ( and I just also replaced the fuel pump) that the pump only runs when it wants to?
Another ghost in the woods?
