Default 1996 caravan 3.0 L (speedometer)

I was driving to work this morning and the speedometer stopped working. About 20 seconds later, the fuel gauge and temp gauge quit working too. While still rolling down the road, I put the van in neutral and shut it off to see if it would come back on when I started it back up, and it did, for about 10 miles. Then it did the same thing again. First the speedometer quit, then the fuel and temp.

Long story short. It won't come back on anymore when I shut it off and restart it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Next time smack the dash above the instrument cluster. If they come alive you have the cracked cluster solder joints issue. Easy and free fix. Just retouch with a soldering iron. May be the problem regardless.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I will give that a try tomorrow on my drive to work. They have totally quit working now. I will try to take it apart this weekend and take the solder gun to them.

I turned the key off and on after I removed all of this from the dash with it just plugged in. The fuel and temp gauge would jump just a bit but wouldn't totally work. Could it be the Ignition switch? Thanks for your help on this issue.

[IMG][/IMG] I watched a video you had placed on another reply from someone else about this issue and because it was a 1999 town and country, the board looked different than mine. I have looked the board over and can't seem to find and defects. Is there a certain area on the board I should be looking?

Default new pics

This is a new pic of my circuit board. Some of these parts that go thru the board appear to be soldered together and some don't. I don't know if they are made this way or if that is the problem. I don't want to solder something together that shouldn't be. Any thoughts on this pic and what you see?
