Default Rurrr noise at idle in gear 02 Grand Caravan

I get a rurrrrr noise when my car is at idle and in gear. If I take it out of gear or raise the rpms slightly it goes away. Some days it's worse than others. When I remove the belt the noise goes away completely. I've replaced the all of the idlers, belt, water pump, tensioner, and alternator. The only belt driven items left are the ac and power steering pump and I don't think it's the compressor. I'd like any advice you may have before replacing the power steering pump.

Was it a new or used alternator you installed?

Have you used a stethoscope to pinpoint the noise either the standard mechanics type or the shadetree mechanic's length of garden hose?

I did and it sounds like it's coming from the pump but I can't say definitively.
