Default A couple questions

I got an 03 Grand Caravan sport with the 3.8. The power streering pumps is whining like its low on fluid but it isnt so its time to change the pump. 1st question is. Is it difficult to get the resivoir off the old pump? 2nd question is the drivers sliding door is not automatic like the passenger side is. Is there a way to make it a power slider like the passenger side?

Might consider the main reservoir up top first. The filter in it often gets clogged restricting fluid flow.

You might consider cleaning the reservoir. I replaced mine the first time but the second time I cleaned it with carburator cleaner. Remove it and clean the screen filter, it will not come out of the reservoir.

Use a turkey baster to suck out the fluid, but be careful not to punch a hole in the screen. All the fluid will not come out and will leak onto the top of the engine, I used several rags to catch the fluid. A shallow pan placed under the larger hose fitting might catch the fluid. There is 10mm bolt (IIRC) that will need to be loosened by feel from the back side under the reservoir, no need to remove the bolt. There are 2 other bolts that you will be able to see. Make sure it is dry before putting it back on.

Replace the fluid with fresh ATF+4.

Sorry, I can't help with the door.

Both doors are powered. The fuse is good because the driver's side is working. A common problem is the wire harness in an articulated track in a cavity next to the bottom of the door. The wire bundle moves everytime you move the door and are often damaged. Here's how to access it:

No, you also need door module, and new door tracks, and a different Latching system, as well as some wiring harness to do the conversion. It is going to be more trouble than it is worth to add power sliding door.
