Question help on p0351/p0352 codes

My wife just got start/run problems, and I pulled p0351/p0352 codes. Secondary resistance check across coil towers were 13.7/13.5/13.3k ohms, within spec. Coil pack was replaced in Oct. 2011, plugs and wires new just prior to that. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Model year? Are you getting ignition pulse to coils 1 & 2 from the PCM at coil connector? If not I would expect you have a bad PCM or wiring between PCM and coil.

MY2002. What is the best way to check pulse from PCM? Also, PCM was replaced in 2009.

Disconnect the ignition coil connector. Connect a test light to the contact for coil 1 and crank the engine. The light should blink as the engine rotates. Repeat for coil 2 and 3. If the light stays on or doesn't light at all the PCM driver circuit for that coil is toast or that wire is open or shorted. Check wire continuity.

Coil #1 - pin #3 dark blue with green tracer

Coil #2 - pin#4 dark blue with tan tracer

Coil #3 - pin #1 dark blue with orange tracer.

You can change parts yesterday and they can be bad today.

All leads check out OK. PCM appears to be fine. This leads me to believe the problem is in the coil pack. would you agree?

If they all blinked then yes, the coil pack.
