Default 2008 caravan heater blower problem

I have a 2008 dodge caravan 3.3l I was driving home from work yesterday and I heard a noise coming from under The hood I turned heater blower off and sound went off. When I got home I turned blower on again but this time it stalled the engine out. I had a new alternator so I put that on today now the blower doesn't kill the engine when turned on but the noise is still there it's not really a squeaking sound but it doesn't sound good. Any ideas? Could the blower motor be drawing to many amps and putting to much load on alternator? Thank you in advance for any help.

I doubt that the blower stalled your van. To put that much load on the alternator through to the engine would have blown the fuse first. Just coincidence.
If you're getting sort of medium pitched rumble sound your blower motor bearings could be shot or the blower cage has come loose and is rubbing on the inlet housing. Best thing to do is take it out and test it.

Thanks for the reply. Would it be possible to hear blower motor problem from under hood? Making it sound like it was coming from belt driven component.

Ok so I checked blower motor everything is good. Cleaned it put it back together now the only time the noise occurs is when the windshield and feet icon is selected. Asoon as I switch it to just feet ect 10 seconds and the sound it gone. Also if I select windshield and Turn blower on the sound comes back like a continiouse clicking sound from under hood

I am going to say your A/C compressor is on it's way out. Windshield Defrost uses A/C compressor, and if it is locking up, it could stall the engine at idle.
