Default Rough shifting transmission

Just throwing this out there to see if my issue is normal for this model or not. I purchased a used 2012 Crew version with 28K on it. It was about 14 months old when I bought it (manuf. in July 2011) and I have recently noticed some pretty rough shifts especially when slowing down to a stop. Also in ECO mode there is a definite bump when it skips a gear. In reverse when I have to climb the upslope curb from the street into my driveway I notice a definite jumping unless I add a bunch of RPM.

Normal I'll live with it but if not I'll take it to the dealer since it is still under warranty.

I love the van but am concerned about having an issue on the road with the tranny especially if it is something that is a potential problem.

Just curious what other 2012 owners have experienced.

Thanks

Normal. My 2010 does this to so I keep it out of ECO mode.

My problem is that it does it even out of ECO mode. If fact it downshifted today coming up to a light that made the van shudder. Appt. in the morning with the dealer....

Error in my post. I have a 2012. Got my forums cofused.
Taking it out of ECO just stops the trans from hunting around at the bottom end. The shift severity is still there. Let us know what happens at the dealer.

A transmission module software update sometimes helps.

Which is exactly what the dealer did. Told me that there was a recall for the 2012's for a flash update to the powertrain control module. Shifts as smooth as any automatic that I have ever had now EXCEPT in ECO mode which is normal. Maybe it is my imagination but when I got on it from a light I couldn't tell it was going through the gears except for the tach and I was at 60 in a heartbeat so maybe the update increased torque in someway as well.....or not. Still amazes me how such a heavy van can have so much giddy up!

Also my low washer fluid light issue was caused by a faulty sensor (which I thought was the problem) and that was corrected as well. 90 minutes at the dealer is worth it to me to know the tranny is OK now although it would have been nice had it been right from the factory to begin with.....

Hope it helps you as much as it did me. The recall shows as M38 on the paperwork.

By the way if they act like they don't know what you are talking about please PM me with your email address and I will send you a scan of the ppwk that the dealer gave me after the fix.
