Well I had rented one last summer and commented on this forum about the strange behaviour of bumpy gear shifts at very low speeds and EVEN in neutral when inching downhill in traffic ... SO I really feel a reprogram of transmission code as natural in the circumstance....

Hey Tizzy1

Can you explain exactly what a CSN is? Similar to a TSB? What's the difference?

It's a recall based on customer satisfaction and not safety.

Have these always been around or are they fairly new?

I have mine booked in tomorrow morning to have it done. Mine has been shifting pretty smoothly. I do notice that in econ mode at very slow speed, there is sometimes a shudder when shifting from 1st to 2nd up a slight incline. We'll see if there is any change.

I had the recall done on my 2012 this morning. I think it helped. I never really had any big problems, but I did have the occasional shudder at low speed when shifting from 1st to 2nd going up a slight incline when leaving the parking lot at work. I tried to reproduce the problem after the reprogram, and I couldn't. Overall, the tranny feels like it is shifting smoother both with the Econ mode on and off, but it could be my imagination.
