Just recently did a drain and fill on a 2002 GC that I got not long ago. Fluid was dark but not black and didn't seem to smell burnt. Smelt like new fluid just not a strong. Anyway I was wondering does dodge use RTV make a gasket from factory or do they use a rubber gasket? I am just trying to get a idea if its been changed before. The pan had RTV on it.

 

Most of the dodge products use RTV on the transission and differential covers.
