I have a 97 caravan 3.0 and the battery light comes on and off while driving, ive tested the alternator and its good, and it has a new battery, it started off i went to leave somewhere and the van wouldnt start i got a boost starting driving and died again, i got it home charged my old battery the next day same thing happend but while i was driving lost power to everything but van kept running till i came to a complete stop, i went out and bough a new battery started off good then the battery light started going on and off while driving, then after awhile it just stayed on and then everything happened again lost power and such, ive tested the alternator several times, replaced the postive cable as it was all corroded, and also replaced the braided mesh ground strap as it was badley corroded and almost falling apart, does anyone have any ideas whats going on, any help would much be appreciated, thanks

 

What is the charging system charging at what voltage? Sound like the van isn't recharging the battery.
