So if you have just skim, not vta. If you get a PCM and BCM from a vehicle without skim and vta and it has the same options as yours otherwise, then yes, you can install them both at the same time, remove the skim prior and the vehicle should start and run. No new key needed. You might get an ABS light because the vin's are mismatched but you should be able to reprogram the vin in the PCM and fix that also. Stuff can happen so this is hypothetical until you prove it correct.

is vta vtss? I am not sure if my van has vtss. I tried arming the anti theft but I don't get no red light blinking showing its armed. I even tried the open window trick but can't get it to trigger. I got keyless entry with panic button. If I hit the panic button I can shut it off with key in ignition turned to on.
My problem is the red light stays solid and I get no crank. I put a OBD reader on it and it doesn't show I'm getting any fuel or ignition when the key is turned to the on position.
