Default Passenger Sliding door

My passenger door is acting up. First it will not lock or unlock. I think I need to replace the actuator. Now if I press to open the door it will open 1/4 and it will stop. I will open the door all the way manually and when I try to close it will make a sound and that's about it. I opened and closed it manually a few times and now it opens fully but it doesn't closed. If I try with the remote it opens but doesn't close. If I try on the rear button it opens but it doesn't close. If I try from the front switch it opens and closed. If I open from remote or rear it opens but it would not close from the front switch.

I really need to fix this since we are about to have our first baby and it would be helpful

Its a 2006 Grand caravan sxt

Thanks in advance

You are correct on the lock actuator needing replacement. The power issue is most likely a broken wire in the track harness. (the harness that runs in the lower door track opening) You can get a new one (kind of expensive) or remove the old one, open it up and replace the broken wires.

$86, that's cheap. I show list price at $120. So I'd go with the aftermarket part at this time. Gonna try to repair the door track harness?

I end up getting the Mopar since there is alot of bad reviews for the aftermarket. I will try to fix the track harness and if I'm not able to fix it I will order a new on ebay. I saw one for $48 with no plastic track

yep. Right and left in a vehicle is always as you are sitting in the drivers seat. I guess it's worth the savings to put in a little extra work.

Was able to fix the wire. It was almost in the middle. I't took me a while to gifure out how to change the actuator on the passenger side. Good thing for you tube. I was able to dril a small hole in order to access the t15 screw

Thanks for your help
