1998 Chrysler T & C Door Ajar
Our 1998 T & C that has 260K miles on that my daughter drives, has the Door Adjar light on the dash on all the time. Therefore, the interior lights are on all the time while driving. I have checked each of the front door switches with my ohmmeter and they are working fine. I have cleaned and inspected the sliding door contacts and checked them out with the ohmmeter as well and I think they are okay. Can't seem to find the switch for the Liftgate can anyone point me to where it is located, is it part of the latch assembly? Also, how would one be able to figure out which door is adjar, they all close and latch fine.
Thanks
Mark

On my 99 caravan the lift gate has a separate warning light in the cluster. Try opening the lift gate and check the cluster for a separate light. Mine looks like a lift gate open on a van, lol.
You are right, we found that yesterday while checking out the Liftgate Latch.
I actually took the latch out and checked out the switch in the latch only to find that there was a separate light in the cluster for that.
So I am back to looking at each door switch.
Not sure which way to turn.
Anyone have any ideas how to determine which door switch is not working?

Based on the diagram I looked at it appears the door ajar switches are normally open, then when the door is opened the switched CLOSE. I'm going to try and verify that, but it looks like the switches ground when the door is opened.
The following pins on the BCM are involved w/ the door ajar sensor:
47 LR door Tan/Orange
48 RF Door Tan/Red
77 RR door Tan/Yellow
79 LF door Tan

I would have tried to unplug the door switches one at a time. Most of the time the sliding doors switches have been the cause. The switch for the liftgate is part of the latch. Open the gate and using a srcew driver and close the lock on the latch.
