Speed Sensor/Code 15
Hi. I'm looking for a diagram of where the speed sensor would be located on a 1992 Town & Country. I have a general idea, but don't know exactly what I'm looking for. The past week or so my speedometer (digital) has been intermittent. Sure, driving 0 MPH on the highway is awesome, but where does all my gas go if I'm not driving anywhere?
I checked the key code and got code 15.
"Code 15 No signal received by the computer (ECU) from the speed sensor"

It's happened several times before. The longest was right after having my transmission rebuilt several years ago. It didn't work for a month or so then just worked. Every now and then it'll stop working for a trip or two, and then be fine for months. This last time though it has been on then off then on every few days and/or trips which is getting a bit disconcerting

The speed sensor is on the extension housing of the transaxle. Go under the van and find the long drive axle on the right side and follow the shaft to the transmission. You will see a connector with wires. Thats the speed sensor. 1993 was the first year the speed sensor was part of the output sensor.
