SUMMARY:

Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, and RAM C/V Tradesman vehicles manufactured May 10, 2012, through June 7, 2013. A software error may result in the opposite side airbags deploying from the collision point (a left side impact would deploy the right side airbags and vice versa).CONSEQUENCE:

In the event of a crash, the wrong side airbags could deploy leaving the occupant with no airbag protection at the point of impact, increasing the risk of injury.REMEDY:

Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will flash the occupant restraint control module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in August 2013. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. Chrysler's recall campaign number is N44.NOTES:

Where is the van's build date information located? I have a 2013 R/T.

May be on a sticker on the back side of the drivers door or the adjacent B pillar.

 

Judging by the dates given on the bullitin it would seem that All (2013) of the vans would be affected. But after call to the service Dept. at the local dealership with my vin#, I was told there is no recall or updates for my van, not even a tranny shift update.
So either not ALL vans are affected ot they have'nt gotten wind of the recall.

 

Like Cougar41 said it should be on the door sticker. The sticker has a "DATE OF MFR:" field as well as a "MDH" field. The date of manufacture field contains the month and year of manufacture while the MDH field has a six digit code, this code contains the two-digit Month, two-digit Day and two-digit Hour (in 24-hour format) that the vehicle was manufactured.

Here's a sample sticker from a 2009 Caravan with the following information:
Date of MFG: 12-08
MDH: 121815
So this van was built on December 18, 2008 at 1500 hours (3 pm).
