I have a 2005 Grand Caravan SXT. I wanted the U-Connect feature in the car, but the dealership I bought from only had two vans in the color I wanted and neither of those were U-Connect friendly. When I asked about adding it later, they showed me the after-market U-Connect kit which is totaly different.

Instead of the integrated buttons on the rearview mirror, the dealer installed after purchase option is a different kit with a control unit you velcro to the left of the radio. YUCK!

In researching this more, I'm learning that the mirror part is very hard to get ahold of, and even once you have it... it takes some tricky wiring to make it work? Or will it work at all? I'm confused... by no means am I the "install it yourself" kind of guy... so my thought was to buy the part and have someone do it for me. Can that be done or not?
