I been having a problem with the starter I had to crank it sometimes for like 10-30 mins before it would start, but yesterday when I was cranking the clicking noise I usually hear just stopped everything else works Electrical but the noise is gone. I replaced the starter my self and still no noise. Can you help me out.

Just to clarify, when you turn the key do you get nothing but a click or is the starter rotating the engine but not starting? What model year? Saw your private message.

Week battery. Poor starter/battery connection. Failed starter relay (once the clicking stopped).

> Have the battery load tested. Clean the connections

> Swap the starter relay with another like relay on the panel.

> Remove the relay and jumper pins #30 and 87 at the relay socket together. The starter should immediately spin with your keys in your pocket.

Also have been in contact with some auto stores they are saying it might be the key ignition.

Remove the relay. Turn the relay upside down. The numbers are next to the pins molded into the plastic. Now matchup those numbers to the pins on the relay socket on the panel. Jumper 30 and 87 together using a small piece of wire or paper clip. To test the ignition switch connect a meter or test light to pin #86 at the relay socket. Should see 12vdc with the switch at start.
