Exclamation Can 2008 grand caravan use 2011 TPMS?

Hi folks,

need some quick help, or place to check. looking at a used set of winter tires off a 2011 GC with the TPMS....

Will the TPMS work on my 2008 GC???

Cheers

edit: well it seems it depends on the tpms.... Dorman seems to have one that will do 08-11..... but I still have not found the 2011 freq.

I don't see why it wouldn't. The worse that could happen, is the tire pressure lamp would stay on. Most of todays vehicle's will program themselves.

Thanks, but that's what i was hoping to avoid (for the wifes van). Seem like some tpms sensor brands/models will and others don't list the 08 being compatible with the 11. So it was a crap shoot.

It would have been a good deal for rims, winter tires and tpms sensors..... not so good if i have to pull off the tires and install new sensors. so i passed. too bad. but i'll keep looking.

Cheers.

how good was the deal? think the sensors have to be 430mhz ones if I recall.
