I have a 2008 Grand Caravan SE with a 3.3L. I recently blew the motor in it. I was wondering if i can drop a 3.8L in its place without having to mod anything...In other words use the same motor mounts as the 3.3L and the Tranny from the 3.3L. I was told that the 3.8L was just a bored out 3.3L. Any comments would be appreciated.

 

There is a lot more changes if you want to use a 3.8, I would stay with the 3.3 engine.
