Default p0455

Is it likely that a p0455 code in the 2002 grand caravan sport 3.3 could cause a p0442 to pop up?

I found that the evap test line was not connected under the air filter box. A 5/16 hose about 2" long that connects it to a steel line was dry rotted and split. Also I found a small line coming from under the brake reservoir(which originally comes from the top of the intake into a tee) to be broken. It has 90 degree ends and plugs in behind the battery. It's hard plastic. Maybe 6" in length. I'm not sure what it's called that it is connected to. It appears to be connected to the throttle/cruise control cables. Any links I can follow or ideas what that line may be running from? I'm hoping this is the cause of the 2 codes.
