Default Door lock wiring

Hello: I'm installing an Accele RS505 wireless keypad on my '08 GC. The install guide has wiring diagrams for Positive Trigger 12V, Negative Trigger 12V, and "Motor Driving". From other searches, I think the van is negative trigger, but how do I confirm that? There are violet w/green stripe and green w/white (or yellow) stripe wires coming from the driver side door switches for the lock and unlock. Can/should I splice into these? From other searches on this site, and Modified Life, I think I need to use a 5.3k ohm 1% resistor for the lock, and a 2k ohm 1% resistor for the unlock. If I'm correct, does that mean just insert the resistor between the wire from the keypad controller and the door lock/unlock wires? Is there a specific wattage resistor I should use? Thank you to any and all who have any knowledge of this wiring.

Thanks for the offer. Do you know how to determine if the locks are positive or negative trigger?
