[5th Gen : 08+]: Dodge at Dealership for 13 weeks!
PLEASE help! My 09 grand caravan has been stalling since April 6th. It shudders in reverse, especially when going up hill and stalls at traffic lights and stop signs. They've tested all the wires and sensors. So far it's had new plugs and wires, a new refurbished TIPM, new EGR valve, new cam and crank shaft sensors, new throttle body and MAP sensor and it's still stalling. They've had it running in an empty bay with a computer hooked up to it to get numbers for Chrysler but every time it comes out with something it ends up being wrong. We've already put 2300 into this and are quickly running out of money. Any help would be so appreciated!
I don't have it on me right now. (at work) but I forgot to add that they did the WIN module recall on it in May. And I'm not sure if it even means anything, but in the beginning when this started if I felt is stuttering at a traffic light and I threw it into park or gave it gas it wouldn't stall, but as time went on it didn't matter and would still stall.

I need info about the car if I'm going to help you. It would also help if I could see the Star case on my end. The VIN would help. It should be on your insurance card. You can PM me if you want.
I think I know what it is.

I looked everywhere yesterday and unfortunately everything with the vin on it is with the dealership. They have the warranty paperwork and insurance card. What do you think it is? Thank you so much for your help!
Mine has done the same thing since Day 1 (we bought it used at 17,500 miles). We've had everything possible done, and it still shudders in reverse up hills, or with the camper attached. So I seriously doubt it's the PCV valve. There is a big huge thread here about the tranny on these vans that shows almost everyone has this issue.

I'm addressing the dying, not the trans shudder.
