Default AC fan blows high only

2002 Dodge Grand caravan Sport 3.3... Ac fan only blows on high, otherwise depends on how fast I am going to force air through. And, it is not always blowing cold, comes and goes. Seems like sometimes if I hit a pothole it jars something and then it works a while! The heater comes and goes too.. mostly NOT... Crazy!
Seems like I read somewhere that the high blower has a separate fuse from the lower speeds, and that may be the problem.. that fuse may be blown. But I only see one fuse for AC blower... so not sure that is the reason.. Also.. the AC makes a high pitched squealing noise when I first put it on, then it fades off after a few seconds.. also sometimes that sound is accompanied with a flapping noise, like the fan is struggling or something, then it goes away after it gets going.. I think it is possessed!

Could be the blower resister going bad or a bad connection to the resister.

Where are resistors located?

Probably among the most common problems on these minivans over the years. The most common fix? The blower resistor block. Here's a video all about it:

Hah ha! I just looked it up on YouTube myself! Found a similar video! Thanks! Now... just got to figure out why it doesn't blow cold all the time... seems I read something about maybe something loose in the dash or ignition switch??

Or it's low on refrigerant.

Can you hear the mode/blend door actuators moving as you change vent modes?
