How do I know if my TCC is engaging?
The P0740 code is bugging me a bit.
Thanks guys.
Hi Walter Pawlowski,

I certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you’re not able to determine a solution based on advice provided here, I kindly recommend connecting with your local Dodge dealer. Our team is available via private message if you are in need of any additional assistance with that process.

In these pictures the front Tranny cover has been removed. To remove this cover I recommend unhooking the Coolant reservoir. You don't have to completely disconnect it, just get it off the front frame so you can wiggle that cover down underneath the car.

Here are some pics of the TCC replacement if anyone is interested.

where did you find the part?

I’m not sure what the part number is, but the box in the photo means it was either through a dealer or a mopar specific website. Search “mopar parts” on google for several parts websites. Some of them you can enter your VIN and get parts diagrams to find exactly what you need.
