Default Replacing 2008 Caravan Front Emergency Brake Cable

Relacing front emergency brake cable for 2008 Caravan

Good evening everyone. This is my first time posting in this form so please forgive my inexperience. I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, and was replacing the front emergency brake cable. Everything went well until I tried hooking the end of the cable up to the brake equalizer. It was about 1 inch too short, but I have double-checked and was assured that I was sold the correct cable. Is there any way that I can get the necessary slack to enable me to hook the end of the front cable up to The Equalizer? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure what the system looks like.... Try posting in the carvan section, someone there should have a clue.

Welcome to DF!

I have looked again and as far as I can tell this is the Caravan section. If I'm mistaken, please help me find where to go and post. I REALLY need to have this resolved a.s.a.p.
Thank you again for your assistance.

Michael
