2 Issues

1 - The heating system only blows Hot/Cold thru the main vents. None is directed to Defrost of Floor. The controls will allow you to select different settings and it will light up but the system still only blows thru the vents. Happens on both the Drivers and Passengers side.

2 - Occasionally, the system will blow the opposite as to the temperature selected.IE. Icy cold in winter and hot in summer. Usually just rolling the temperature control ***** to both full extremes correct the issue. Is there a permanent solution?

Given that I have two issues what are the chances my main selection unit is bad?

I Have the exact same problem with the heating system only blowing Hot/Cold thru the main vents. None is directed to Defrost of Floor as your problem. Did you find the issue? Thank you

The problem could be in the climate control unit, But I would scan for any codes first and n=maybe do a re-learn. Could also be a blend door problem or actuators.
