Before purchasing these brake pads and rotor I compared all the available options for a complete set of brake pads and rotors Raybestos Element 3 versus Power Stop Evolution Geomet was $ 63 dollars Raybestos were a Hyrbrid pad while Power Stop was a ceramic pad. I know from owning cargo vans and 4x4 extended cabs it wasn't recommended to use ceramic brake pads these vehicles.

Bottom line is a DOT rated brake pad has to meet certain characteristic to be rated at a certain level no matter the manufacturer so a Raybestos, Power Stop, Wagner or NRS with the same rating will be similar in performance just like a speed rated tire these tests are federally regulated.
