Default 2010 Grand Caravan Intermittent Start

2010 starts okay most of the time. Occasionally when I turn the ignition switch I get a quick sound but the engine does not turn over. If I move the gear shift out of park and then back into park it will then start normally. I have seen many notes about dealers changing starters but that not fixing the problem. Does anyone know if the cause of the problem and a fix have been identified?

Did you know if the recall has been done for the WIN module ( wireless ignition node)?

Did you get two new remotes with it too? I'm guessing the problem may lay in either the Tipm module or the shifter assy.

I did receive two new keys. I called two local dealers and they both said they had not heard of this problem before. I also called Dodge and that had no idea. A local repair shop is wondering if it could be a neutral safety switch. Hate to start replacing parts based on guesses.

Could be a loose connection at some point in the ignition system. I have seen a loose wire at the starter on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. With the 3.6 engine.
