Need help fast! No reverse
need to get this car fixed today or I'm screwed. 2005 dodge caravan with the 3.8 has a problem with reverse. When the gear selector is put into reverse it goes into gear but only idles back. When I give it gas the speed doesn't change at all it just revs up and continues at the same speed. I can't seem to find anyone with this exact problem. Is it the solenoid? The tpm? I have a parts vehicle, same year same options. If it is the tpm can I use the one from the parts vehicle without reprogramming it?
