Default 2012 Grand Caravan Transmission issues

Hi there! I have a 2012 Grand Caravan, 135,000 miles, I’ve had it since 2013 and have always taken great care of it. Lately though, I’ve been having some issues with the transmission. Sometimes, it wants to pull out in second or third gear, and when that happens, all I have to do is pull over, put the van in park, shut it off and then back on, and then it runs fine. It didn’t do this often at first, but now it’s multiple times a day. I’ve had the fluid and filter changed a few times hoping that might help, but it doesn’t seem to be helping at all. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Or am I just gonna have to have the transmission replaced? Any help is greatly appreciated.

When this does happen, Does the check engine lamp come on? And are you hearing a growling sound when it happens too. If it does, You may have either the front pump starting to fail or the splines on the underdrive compounder gear is starting to round off. But I would need more information. You have a 62TE transmission.

no check engine lamp, and no growling sound. It happen either when I initially put it in drive, or when I sit idle while in drive like if I have to stop at a stop light.

Sound like maybe the TCC solenoid is sticking lockin the torque converter causing sluggish take off due to the limited slip of the torque converter.
