Default My new 2017 R/T Scat Pack

Just bought my first new Dodge. 2017 Challenger R/T Scat Pack. Loving it so far, only had it a couple days. Was surprised to find it didn't have remote start. I was standing in the dealership and looked at the keys and didn't see the x2 and said no way! I was looking at chargers and they all had remote start. I just ASSumed....
Waiting to here back from the dealer to find out if he can/will install it. I found a part number online. Dodge website doesn't list it under dealer installed options.

They can install. My son bought an R/T last year. The dealer installed remote start would have cost him @$800. He said never mind....

Does your son have a 2017? I wonder if something may have changed for the 17's

2016 and I don't think anything has changed as far as the remote start functionality. You can ask the dealer.

As a suggestion only, I would shop around to see what may also be available. And more than likely you will also find a better install price too.

Thanks. I haven't actually talked to anyone at the dealership yet, all correspondence has been through email so far. I am currently waiting on a reply as to which aftermarket remote they use, then I can start shopping around.

Any aftermarket shop can install remote start for you.
