Default Fuel pump sealing ring challenger

Goodafternoon,

I hope someone can help me out.
I have a dodge challenger 3.6 V6, year 2011. When I fuel the tank compelety up, there is a gas smell. This smell disappears after 50km or so.
The fuel pump has a leaking sealing ring and hose.
The garage I brought the car to told me the only thing they can do is replace the entire fuel pump (+/- 700euros) as they are unable to get those 2 parts seperately.

So, I am looking for those 2 parts and also they need to be shipped to the Netherlands....

Thank you in advance for your reply

Best regards,
Rebecca

Lock ring:

52110282AA

Gasket:

55366298AA

Which oddly enough shows up as an Alpha Romeo part???? How strange. Both are still available from the dealer, I would like to think they would be available in the Netherlands as well.... talk to the local dodge dealer. (is there one???)

Hi,

Great, thanks for your reply.
I will order those items.
The local dodge dealer also say they only have the complete fuel pump.
I will let you know how it turns out.

Hi,

Just to let you know that I ordered the parts from the US.
They are the correct parts, which is great. Unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. Still a very strong fuel scent when the tank is full.
The garage advises to replace the entire fuel pump now.

Ouch. I would be tempted to put a LITTLE bit of air pressure on the fuel system, and see if you can hear where it is leaking from. Might be the evap system, might be the pump module.... might be a cracked tank.....

Goodafternoon,

Well it turns out the plastic part (I am not sure how to put this in english.. ) of the fuel pump is leaking gasoline.
So I am tempted to just replace the entire fuel pump to make sure the problem is solved. The car also has 120.000 miles on it so replacing the part can't hurt.
Could you help me to find the correct article number? (I am trying to find the fuel pump for a little less than the 500 +euros they are asking at the dealer in the Netherlands.. ) Thank you in advance.

I am seeing a couple different styles of pumps, and some of the refer to the 'driver side primary pump'. Do you have more than one pump assembly in the tank?? If so, which one is leaking.
