Shifter and cluster lights staying on

Just thought I'd update everyone on this one....the car is STILL AT THE SHOP (3 weeks and counting). Multiple control modules have been replaced, the shifter has been replaced and all the while the car has never thrown a code. Now, they have determined that all this trouble is due to a wire that had rubbed through the insulation, causing a short near the positive battery terminal! They are testing to make sure this has fixed the issues and then the task begins of reassembling the car. Hopefully early next week I will be able to get it back. With all this I am concerned now that I will have rattles, squeaks and noise which did not exist prior to this debacle. Not to mention, I sure would appreciate some complementary oil changes or compensation considering they have had the car 3 weeks!! Comments???
