Default Battery Tender Attachment for 2023 Hellcat and 2011 RT

I wanted to get some feedback concerning where people are attaching their tenders, i.e. hood vs. trunk. For under the hood, my recollection is that the 2011 RT has a single positive battery bolt (and then you attach the negative to some bare metal) while the 2023 Hellcat has a positive terminal and a negative bolt. Please keep me honest here.

Here's the rub: currently we're fighting a mouse problem at the house. :-) I'd like to keep those critters out of the cars. And that's the reason for the question.

Note: Cars wouldn't be ran for 2-3 weeks so maybe tender not required? I wouldn't run my RT sometimes for 2-3 weeks and I've had a number of dead batteries over the years so trying to avoid that.

Thanks

Decision made - not leaving any part of the cars open with mice running around!! :-)
