Hello.



I had posted on how my rear reverse camera stopped working. Now i found out my white reverse lights dont come on when in R.not sure what is going on with the back of my car. dont know what.



any ideas?

 

Does the indicator in the car show you are in reverse? On my truck, the neutral safety switch failed, and no reverse lights..... On yours, it's the 'transmission range sensor'..... and if it isn't telling other parts of the car the trans is in reverse, you don't get backup lights, and the camera won't activate.

Ah... yeah, that matters. Still and all, there has gotta be a switch somewhere that clues various things it that you are in reverse. Theoretically, the switch is on the drivers side of the trans..... exactly where though, I don't know......

 

I would also lead to believe the reverse switch, when mine failed on my G56 my lights and camera actually came on randomly while driving
