Charger most likely, since it's an automatic and a 4 door. Plus the Challenger's interior isn't exactly perfect. It reminds me of the Mustang's cheap interior, while it offers a beastly engine...all for a fair price.

I'd say challenger. I like the looks of the charger, but it just cant compete with the retro styling of the challenger. Have they made it official that it would come wit hthe manual tranny. Last I read it was only for the prototype and if production was made it would have the auto-stick found in the charger.

Challenger, the Charger is a little big for my taste.
If the Charger is a little to big then you'll probably be disapointed with the Challenger too as it's around the same size, the Challenger is 2.3" shorter length, 4.1" wider, and 1.2" shorter height and both weight about the same as the shorter wheelbase wasn't to make it shorter it was to give it more retro looking longer overhangs.

For me provided the production version actualy has the 5 speed autostick instead of the 6 speed manual then Challenger, otherwise i'd rather the Charger.

I don't think I'll be dissapointed with the Challenger. I've waited a long time for this car, a performance rear drive 2 door with a V\8. While it's bigger than the original it still is in keeping with the spirit of the original and still smaller than the Charger. I don't look for any major changes from the concept to production. I do think there will be a choice of the 5.7 or 6.1 hemi with a V\6 as a base engine. Although with MDS I don't see the need for a V\6 I think there will be one for the entry level buyer not willing to pay for a hemi. I just hope we see the 6.4 offered as the answer to anything the competition will have to offer in the way of ultimate power. I also think we'll have our choice of auto or manual.

i have seen MANY e-bodies in my day, and to stand and look at this car, it doesnt look any bigger than the original...it isnt as though you look at it and think, "damn, is that thing big", anymore than you would with the old ones..

1970 challenger specs:
Length: 191.5 inches
Width: 76.5 inches
Height: 51 inches

Concept specs:
Length: 197.8
Width: 78.6

Well, I have to say that ulitmately price would decide my choice. I cant stand the Charger, and that's for more then just the name...., but the Challenger has really not WOWWED me either.

It's great looking and does have an appeal....but it's still missing something....

I'd probably take the Challenger....but only in an SRT-8 package...
