Default SLP Loud Mouth 2

Question to anybody running this exhaust.

The cat back come w/ Bullet Mufflers. They look like glass packs.

I am scared that this car is going ot be REAL loud.

I will reprot back tomorrow , they are telling me a day to a day 1/2 for the install.

Also SLP is a quality exhaust system. Man it is all stainless w/ bad *** tips.

Headers are chrome jet hot coated. Look really mean!

Wait until you hear the MDS kick in, THEN you will really think that it is too loud.Thedroning sound of MDS on four cylinders, will drive you insane. But you know the saying, "If it's too loud... Your too old..."

Since I suspect that the drone is result of resonance within the entire exhaust, it may be impossible to determine the effect, except by installing it. I also suspect that small differences in these exhaust systems make large differences in the resonance and associated drone of the exhaust.. This would be true with any exhaust that is less restrictive than the original.

LM2 is quieter.

I called SLP and they said no cabin drone. No biggie if I do I can always install after market resonators.

Well I got her back and she sounds really good. Very deep throaty sound. I saved the aftermarket resoantors just in case.

I cant really feel a big difference yet. Does HAL need time to adjust??

I have come to the conclusion FLOWmaster suck! They offer nothing but noise and NO preformance.

The SLP cat backs and headersare loud but its is not a loud Drone. Its pretty cool sound(unique)but if you got mom and grandma in the car it might annoy them.

But if you're cruising on a Sat night looking for some race action she sounds mean!

The PCM & HAL will take some time to adjust. It's interesting you didn't notice a "pants seat" difference in HP from headers.

I really didnt stomp on it so it might be me.

I will get on her on the way home and report back tomorow.

The Exhuast guys are told me the headers are about 3 inches lower than the stock and to watch for speed bumps.

Does that sound right??
