A switch that will turn the radiator fan on/off for cooler running. Some have modified it so it's automatic (ie if you get out of your car and it's above temp the fans willstay on and automatically turn off once tempature has dropped).

I think the NoESP folks will offertwo versions of the fan mod (an on/off version and an automatic version) and alsoESP on/off.

byebyeblue: Ok I am a nut, but I was pulling out ofa parking lot withroad slightly wet and just had to let her rip. I shut down the ESP to try and get some sideways action and did, then suddenly I felt and heard the left rear tire do something wrong ( the brake kicked in) and suddenly I am going straight. I imagine most people may say that the ESP was working as intended, I say leave me alone. I am not sure how fast I was going but I was sideways for a bit until the brake came on. I believe the ESP will overide the off button at whatever speed but off should be off. I'll get the gismo for fifty bucks! Thanks for the input and I still love my RT and I am still smiling.

i just had to say that statement sounded like it came out of my fingers. LOL

i did the same thing today with the same results.

does pulling fuse 17 really work and without side effects?

Maybe I'm not understanding this, but I can fry my back tires in my Daytona Charger just by pushing the ESP botton on the dash. I just push the button, the little squiggy dash light comes on, and I can fry at will. I just slightly feather the brakes at first, then let off, and I can keep them turning until I decide enough is enough... in fact, I can steer it left or right and keep it going. It seems plenty to me. Dave's great photo was an early shot of "just" his Hemi Charger is a testiment to that. I can do the same with a push of the botton. Do you need more??

PS: I ment "just" a HC because the Daytona's have a whopping 10 HP more... no dissing intended.

Yeah, sure. You just been waitin' haven't ya? Just kidding MN. Hope you know that. You know, when I did that, the tires got really slippery after they had been spinning for a while [8D]

LOL. They weren't slippery Dave,they were m- e - l - t - i - n - g . . . Likethis: Dodge Charger, $28,500. Hemi option, $2,500. Having to put new rear tires on every 2,000 miles, $450. Finding an empty parking lot early on Sunday morning, priceless.

Dave, ESP doesn't stand for Extra Slippery Pavement... LOL.

MNBoy,

Do you have a super chips tuner program installed, they have reduced torque management that may be helping you. While stock with ESP disabled, my car did small smoke shows but nothing to write home about, I did an SC program with the reduced Torque Mgnmt and now can get much more wheel speed thus enhancing thesmoke shows. I sprung for the NOESP and just haven't had the time to install it, but I am curious. Perhaps the Daytona has a different stock Torque managmt program if you don't have the SC.
