Default Need advice on Borla vs Corsa exhaust

I just installed K & N CAI and notice a difference in sound and performance. I am now looking at exhaust and I am looking for the best direction on either of Borla and Corsa systems. I am looking for more sound because I like to hear my exhaust and the extra power is also a priority. Do any of you guys that have first hand knowledge on the sound difference between stock and aftermarket have any input. Is it worth the expense to upgrade the exhaust or am I better off spending money on a SC programmer as my next mod.

Yep love the Corsa and you can't go wrong w/Borla either.

Aftermarket will product a throatier tone, but watch out for the dreaded drone.

I'd say go for the SC and leave the exhaust stock. Headers would be next on my list.

I've heard they are both good systems. Can't speak to the Corsa systems but I have the Borla system with the resonators and no drone.

Definitely sounds good. Kind of a mellow rumble around town and a good snarl when you mash the throttle. Get all sorts of good comments when I fire it up and blip the throttle. The Borlas really woke the car up. I'm running the K&N CAI and SC set to 91 octane and performance mode.

Took the sales guy who sold me the car a year ago for a ride a few days ago after the shop had finished changing the oil. He was grinning ear to ear when we got back. I had backed the SC out so they could service my car, so we'll do another run with the SC installed when I pick up my wife's car later this week (new rear main seal - warranty work).

I know the Corsa system doesn't produce drone.

Yes the Corsa has no drone. It's great technology, straight through with their cancellation that handles the drone no packing or deflecting.
