JUST got the mod done today .wow what a difference it makes.doing the cam and heads the week ,should be a totally new beast when im done.

 

Where u been hidin... The cam and heads are being done in one week? Can you refresh me what cam and what heads you went with, I think their Franks right?

 

hi there mango .yeah i know i feel guilty enough ,we havent spoken in while .ive been busy looking into a lot of heads and stuff.well speaking of which i went with franks racing sidewinder cam and there econo heads with the ferrera valves and cout heads to increase comprersion to 10.6. the setup will still be running mds.i was going to go total non-mds.but at 3 plus dollars a gallon mds stays.im gonna be droping of the car sun and picking up fri and then she will be a nasty bitch.....

Looking at that list of mods, didn't know you did B&G. I assume it's prep work for the cam/heads.

hey mango i miss our chats too.well yes to all the above most of it is prep work for the cam and heads.which is going to be done today.the worst part is i wont be able to get the car untill sat. ive also got my next 2 mods lined up .srt wheels already bought and ready to go as well as brembo calipers just need the rest of the items knuckles spindels rotors.soon very soon

 

oh and as far as hp gains are conerned im anticipating around 100 thats what others with similiar combos have gotten .

well lets say my tax return is gone and a few g on the cc .the tq converter purchase and install was 950.heads cam with install was 2000 .then there where the srt wheels the srt tire srt brembos .now im broke.lol 2 projects dead mid stream the tires and brakes .well the tires are going on this week .the brakes are another matter.im gonna need 2 rear knuckles 2 front spindles 2 srt brake lines.a few small odds and ends pieces.ill be done after that .well not really my retro back check from the city will be here soon .i was thinking about a turbo.then there are the new msd coils coming out for the cars this coming january.so we shall see what happens. oh yeah then there was the b&g that was anothe 800 and 350 for superchips .it all adds up.......
