I was pulled over this morning for accelerating through a yellow light. When I asked the police man what I did he said you aacelerated through a yellow light and I said "I didnt accelerate office you must be msitaken". He says he heard my car rev up and I said I have SLP LT headers on the car and they make the car a little loud. He goes on the well doesnt the car rev when you slam on the gas and I said no its always sounds that way.
The horrible thing about this was the cop wasnt behind me he was at another light in the intersection. So he is basing he claim on my engine sound. What a joke!
Anywhoos he gave me a BS ticket and I said see you in court.

 

Thats why i dont live in austin just kidding its beautiful there, and i did try out for that dept. about 16 years ago. sorry to hear about that luckily our pd doesnt bother with ours and DPS seems like they only write my wife tickets. Although i did get yelled at by DPS for smoking he tires on my dually deisel. He couldn quite understand diesels with no exhaust and programmed smke a little. Well good luck

 

Your probably right, they were jellous of your ride

Now you have to invest your personal time to fight that ticket [:@]that's the part that reaks.

 

Thats why I like a quiet exhaust. Open it up to breath but keep it quiet?

 

The jealous of my ride part was only a joke.

I meant was my bright yellow car had something to do w/ the ticket.

 

Sometimes the cops just want to look at a Charger, no matter how new it is. [8D] I got pulled over towing this home in the middle of the night from Nebraska last month. He said the trailer lights were not working, so I turned on the parking lights which lit the 5 1/2 tail light up for good visability. Then he had to walk around the car a couple times admiring it.
