Well, I'm kind of wondering that myself. After all, is it REALLY necessary to have what?, a dozen different kinds of "jeep" vehicles.

Not too much response to this, guess no one is interested, or they are like me and really have NO idea what is going to happen.

You would think that members would be more concerned, when the value of what is probably one of their largest assets is directly threatened... I guess their too busy comparing the value of various CAI, chips, and 24" wheels... bling over bucks... todays reckless youth...

<Who keeps leaving that darn soapbox in here>

I'm just stirring the pot.

If I had a crystal ball invest or jump ship!

Not sure, but their trying to settle their work force right now. I'm sure the stories are going rapid and work guarantees are at an all time low. Glad I don’t work there w/high possibilities of being rif’ed due to restructuring that has to happen.

Time will tell if Cerberus will maneuver Chrysler away from doom or steer them directly into its path.

I for one am not going to toil over my vehicles demise at some big wigs (<= with golden parachutes) fault. The odds are better of it being totaled in a DFW intersection by some uninsured idiot running a red light

im not sure what will happen either. I think they have 20% still so just hope the technology sharing continues. When deciding which car to buy, the idea that this 30k vehicle had parts from higher end mbz's really was a determining factor. I don't know a heck of a lot about cars (am learning) so relied a little on the brand recognition. Thus far has been one of my better decisions inlife to go with a charger.

well im optomistic ,i am young (37) but fully aware of whats going on.its still way to early to tell whats going on. i do know this though ,cerebrus plans on putting a lot of resources into its online services and putting out less rebates to cover the costs .the owner of the cerebrus also commisioned the tomohawk .thats the viper motorcycle for those that dont know.the owner is a car nut and gear head from what i hear.so i do not believe he will intentionally rundodge or chrysler into the ground.time will tell..........

I too, wish I had a crystal ball on this one. Maybe we'll see Plymoth rise from the ashes...maybe we'll get a 'Cuda to combat the 500 hp Mustang from the Shelby shop or a new Viper to go up against the 700 hp Vette that's coming. Maybe we will only get K cars.....at the end of the day, it's the bottom line number that matters most.
