Default Brake Light on Dash

Has anyone had the red brake light come on while you were driving, and no codes. I have found the fix.

I got the information from Star oline ( Chrysler ) The fix is to replace the E-Brake cable, Because the cable that came with the car is 1/8 inch longer. The new cable is 1/8 shorter. The longer cable allows the ratchet to ground the brake lite switch causing the red brake lite to come on and no codes.
